RJ Power is proud to have been included as a case study business for the CSR2025 event which took place on Thursday 17th October in Chatham, Kent. Organised by TA Barker Associates and believed to be the first of its kind in the South East, the purpose of the event was to highlight the way that CSR, also known as “Social Value” can be as good for businesses as it is for charities, local good causes and community projects.
Jenna Wells, our HR and Marketing Manager, gave a presentation to local businesses, charities and other organisations, sharing how the RJ Power businesses use a CSR framework built on four pillars; Education, Charity, Business Operations and the Environment. The conception of the RJ Power Green team and initiatives such as our Bee and Butterfly Garden, beach cleans and charity fundraising were all discussed and both well received and applauded by the audience.
The work of the Green team and other colleagues across all the RJ Power brands engaging in CSR initiatives are fully supported by RJ Power’s Senior Management team, who both value and recognise the benefits this brings to each business.

The event also included the launch of a short video created by TA Barker Associates and starring several members of the RJ Power Team, to introduce the concept of CSR and the benefits that are brought to the business itself and also individuals who participate in related initiatives. The video will be used as a marketing tool to raise awareness of not only of the CSR forum itself, but the achievements of RJ Power and also the support that TA Barker Associates can offer to businesses with building their CSR agenda.
The next forum will take place in February 2020 and all the RJ Power brands will continue to play a key part in the development of this forum; sharing of the successful initiatives such as those we have implemented in line with our CSR approach so far.
