SALARY Up to £35k depending on skills and experience
EXPERIENCE Hold a Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge.
Can confidently work with Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint.
Can demonstrate excellent Client relationship management skills.
Experience in working to deadlines and prioritizing own work load.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible to undertake a range of different tasks within the working day.

RJ Power Networks are looking for an ambitious individual with a proven understanding of Electrical Engineering to join their Business Development team as a Junior Estimator. The successful candidate will enjoy a challenging and varied workload, providing a range of key support to the business including site visits, client meetings, completion of key sales documentation and working closely with the Operational delivery team to provide our clients with excellent service from start to finish.

Based at our Sevenoaks office, this role provides an exciting opportunity to learn from our highly experienced Business Development team, with an amazing opportunity to progress your career and play a key part in our already successful team.

Job description

  • Build and retain positive and trusting relationships with prospective, new and existing clients
  • Complete detailed sales visits and surveys to support the production of detailed and accurate quotes and handover of technical information to the Operations team.
  • Complete PQQ’s, Tenders and Quotes.
  • Respond to and manage enquiries relating to the above
  • Liaise with the Procurement and Asset administrator and approved suppliers to ensure we always obtain competitive quotes and excellent service from our supply chain.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Operations Manager to appropriately direct resources and effectively plan for future requirements.
  • Work with the Networks Operations Support Manager to ensure the accurate collection of all client related information, so it is handed over effectively and accessible to all relevant parties.
  • Follow up on Sales leads
  • Liaise with the Networks Administration team to ensure the admin needs of the Business Development team are always covered, including periods of annual leave.
  • Work as a key member of the Networks Business Development team, learning and developing from the existing members of the team as part of the department’s succession plan.

Successful applicants will have the following:
